The tortured poets department is the newest album in Taylor Swift’s repertoire. The album came out on the 19th April at midnight EST. The album debuted at No1 on the billboard hot 100. Globally, the album sold over 1.5 million copies in it’s first week in the US alone. After its initial release at midnight, a second edition was dropped at 2am titled “The Tortured Poets Department The Anthology”. This edition had an extra 14 songs, making it the longest album of Swift’s career. Swift worked with producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff on this project. It has collected 6 grammy nominations for the awards in 2025.
Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, the largest grossing concert tour ever, debuted in Glendale, Arizona in March 2023, spanning 2 years, 22 countries and 152 shows, it is no doubt the biggest tour of swifts career. The concert lasts 3.5 hours.
Taylor has been touring and playing shows since the before her first album was released, however her first tour took place in 2009, after the release of her second album, Fearless.
